I'm surprised at the number of people whose mothers never taught them the simple adage

"Before you judge someone, walk a mile in their shoes."

Though I doubt many of you could fill mine.

Theres two sides to every story. and i dont know what this is about, but I do know that everyone has their lot in life to live. And yeah, its tough being smart.... but would you really have it any other way?

I honestly dont think there is any one kid who could really handle IB who isnt already in it.

You're very special. I love you a lot<3

hey cassie
..i wasn't talking about you if thats what you're thinking...as you said, dont say anything if you dont know half the story, which apparctly you don't since we dont seem to be thinking the same thing....i understand you're little quote thing, but i am merely agreeing with that of many other leadership people and i assure u i am not the only one who thinks this (other leadership think so as well)

sry for this misunderstanding, it doesnt matter really...thats life and it never really goes most people's ways anyway...na ja.

Just becuase they can't judge doesn't mean they can't understand. However, the people are you most likely talking about don't understand. In addition to what Delaney said though, it's not just IB. It's marching band, friends, and whatever else you might have going.
I know there is no way in hell I could fill your shoes, let alone walk in them (let alone a mile). I give my greatest respect to the people who have the most right to be stressed and upset, but choose to display these feelings in a calm and collected fasion.
You are one of the smartest people I know- you went to GHP, do well in IB, have tons of friends, and are fun to be around. The people who judge you before looking at your shoe size should gape at its enormity and then be swallowed by it in the most aggonizing fasion the shoe can imagine.

No one's mother could ever teach that particular adage properly - not even yours. The truth of the matter is, it is impossible to walk in another's shoes, and it is likewise impossible not to judge another. So one might as well not complain.
